  • 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup beef or vegetable broth
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • Sweet potatoes for topping (amount as needed)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions until translucent. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  2. Stir in carrots and celery; cook until softened. Add tomato paste, thyme, rosemary, cinnamon, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, broth, and peas. Simmer until well combined.
  3. Boil peeled and diced sweet potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and mash until smooth; season as needed.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a baking dish, layer the lamb filling evenly at the bottom and top with sweet potato mash.
  5. Bake for about 25-30 minutes until heated through and golden on top.
