  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 300g Brussels sprouts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Juice of lemon
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Preheat the grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  2. Grill the chicken for about 5–6 minutes per side until fully cooked and charred.
  3. Toss halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet and roast at 200°C (390°F) for about 20 minutes until crispy.
  4. For the sauce, melt butter in a saucepan, add flour for 1 minute, then whisk in milk gradually. Add minced garlic and simmer until thickened before mixing in grated Parmesan.
  5. Serve sliced grilled chicken on bowls with roasted Brussels sprouts and drizzle generously with sauce.
