  • 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • Extra chopped pecans
  • Sea salt flakes
  • Drizzled caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and 1/2 cup brown sugar. Cut in 1/2 cup cold butter until crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  4. Sprinkle pecans evenly over the crust.
  5. In a saucepan, melt 2/3 cup butter with remaining brown sugar over medium heat until bubbly; pour over pecans.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven, sprinkle chocolate chips on top, let soften, then spread evenly.
