  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 jar (15 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the breading station by mixing flour, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in one shallow dish. In another dish, combine beaten eggs and milk.
  2. Coat each mozzarella cube first in the egg mixture and then dredge in the flour mixture for even coverage.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry coated mozzarella sticks in batches for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and melted inside.
  4. For the creamy dip, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, parsley, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
