  • 4 small/medium Gala apples
  • 1½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 T canola oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 T melted butter
  • 2 T sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  2. Core and slice the apples into ½ inch slices. Toss them in a mixing bowl with canola oil, vanilla extract, and ½ teaspoon cinnamon until well-coated.
  3. Arrange the apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for about 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  4. Once soft, transfer the apples to a bowl and mix with melted butter, remaining cinnamon, and sugar. Serve immediately.
