  • 3 lb. side of salmon (skin on)
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp minced garlic (1 large clove)
  • 1/3 cup olive oil

Instructions

  1. Lay the salmon skin-side down on a cutting board and cut it into six equal portions. Place them in a baking dish skin-side down.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, dijon mustard, minced garlic, and olive oil until well combined. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the marinade.
  3. Spread the remaining marinade over the salmon portions and let them marinate at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F) and brush the grates with oil.
  5. Grill the salmon skin-side down for about four minutes, then carefully flip and cook for an additional four minutes or until done.
  6. Remove the skin from each portion and brush with reserved marinade before serving warm.
